Art of Flight
Flight has fascinated mankind since the first stirrings of conciousness and despite giant strides in getting into the air it is still the birds that lead the way in technique to suit the situation, applying a solution to the variances of the natural world.
Lion kill
Lions prey on a range of species from termites to elephants but the favoured prey in many areas is the buffalo and kills are usually a battle of wills where kills may carry on for up to two hours.
Moments with baboons
Why is it that watching baboons interact is so appealing to us? Is it because they are so similar to us in what they do that it is as if we are watching ourselves from a distance?

Okavango Patterns
The Okavango is fed by waters that journey from highlands thousands of miles away and spill into the delta to form one of natures miracle and from the air the Okavango Delta is a masterpiece of modern art.
Bumping into buffalo
We set out on a game drive in the Kruger Park's Thornybush Reserve. Before we knew it we found ourselves in a forest surrounded by a herd of buffalo. We quietly watched as the herd went about its business, with one eye always unnervingly focused on our vehicle.
Itchy Zebras
While on a scenic off-road drive in the Kogelberg biosphere (Western Cape) we came across a few Burchell zebra. One particular zebra had an unbearable itch. She rubbed her belly on bottom on a small, stiff piece of shrub. Nothing seemed to hit the spot though. You almost wanted to just jump out the vehicle and give her belly a scratch.
